About

Ashley Wilson-Dixon is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a PhD in transpersonal psychology from Sofia University. She received her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California (USC), and Bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Psychology and Child Development from Cal State Los Angeles (CSULA).

As a former foster youth and a woman of mixed heritage, her lived experiences guide her mission to uplift marginalized voices and inspire collective healing. Being part of the less than 1% of foster youth to earn a doctorate degree has solidified her commitment to advocacy, equity, and decolonizing traditional models of mental health care.

Because of this, she brings a trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and spiritually attuned lens to her work with adults, youth, families, and communities of color. Her approach is holistic, integrating evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, and ACT with transpersonal psychology, somatic healing, ecotherapy, and creative expression.

With over 8 years of clinical experience, she continues learning. She is currently completing a second Master's degree in Applied Psychophysiology and pursuing certification in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback from Saybrook University to bring the latest in mind-body science to clinical practice. Ultimately, her goal is to help clients reconnect with their inherent worth through mind-body-spirit practices
